Personally I'd rather get deals on bars that are of decent quality. If you break it, bend it, etc, it's not a big deal. If you drop $100+ on a bar, it is a big deal. Location. Troms, North Norway. The Jonsered 455 is a 44cc saw from the 1980s - and the "family" it belongs to (520 Family) are among the least popular Jonsereds.That saw was last produced around 2008 and represents the last actual pro model saw that Poulan ever produced. It is 54cc and far superior to anything else built in that class such as MS290 and 455 Rancher. It has split cases, adjustable oiler, and very solid construction. Do a muffler mod and that is all it needs to be a really good firewood saw.Hard to know for sure what you've got there without more info or a pic. But an 034 should have 3/8" chain. So as long as it's not square ground (not common) you'd need a 7/32" round file. And as the cutter shortens in length, 13/64 and finally 3/16. The only way to keep track of this is in 64th.Stay away from Ebay though--prices are generally just too high. Depending on what you're looking to spend you might want to see if you can land a husky 350 refurb from a dealer.
